My daughter and I have always watched Big Brother. The only other reality series that I like is the Amazing Race.
My husband has never watched Big Brother before. This season, for some reason he has sat through a couple of episodes. Tonight he told me who he wanted to

to all it may consume...i mean concern...my poor little brookiepooh had to have surgery on her leg today to remove a blockage in one of her major arteries.
it was a very long surgery but she was able to hobble home this afternoon (well...austin gave her a ride home but she had to hobble into the house).
so she isn't feeling too chipper and thought it would be nice for you all to stop by and wish her well and a speedy recovery.

I saw where they changed your name. Sorry you couldn't keep it. But I understand it. My in-laws wanted to call me something different than my real name. Because it was the same as my husband, father-in-law, almost like his sister, same as sisters husband, and rhymed with mother-in law, and same as mother-in-laws brother-in-law. I said no. So at Christmas, when the name is called, half of the room looks.
I say that our names are the same, but they are spelled differently. What is my name? HL

i mean the ones that think they are too good to serve you (or you are not good enough to deal with).. as i posted previously, my last contract ended a few weeks ago and i got another that will involve a bit more travel than normal so am looking to get a better car to eat up the mileage and provide a bit more safety.

I pulled into the Toyota dealership, in my minivan, in 1998. I wanted to look at their Landcruiser. I was looking for a SUV type vehicle. The salesman, finally came out, walking slow. I asked him if Toyota had any other suv kinds of vehicles besides the landcruiser? He said no, and turned and walked away. I just stood there dumbfounded. Was it the minivan, or me being a woman, or what? I bought a Ford Explorer. Then Chevy Tahoe.
I will never buy a Toyota.
a couple i knew (now baptized jws, i brought them in) went to a lecture in weston, mass.
they loved the lecture about life and seeking a higher spiritual plain.
right after the lecture (body guards at the doors) they were encouraged to leave their cars in the (now dark, no lighting) parking lot.

i, damselfly, can not knowingly eat the little squiggly, umbilical cord things in eggs.
i have to very carefully separate the whites from the yolk and remove the squiggly bits with a knife.
i get gaggy just thinking about them.
tijkmo: Since you brought up magazines. I never, never pick up the first magazine. I always get the one further down the pile. The same goes for a newspaper, can of corn, circular at the store etc. I have issues. HL

Damselfly: I'm the same way in the bathroom. I always open the door with a papertowel. My biggest quirk? I hate spiral staircases. Especially see through ones. HL
